Sensory-Friendly Play Sessions
A quieter time for children with special needs to explore & play
Every Sunday | 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Pre-registration required
Our Sensory-Friendly Play Sessions offer a calm and comfortable environment for families with children who benefit from a low-sensory play experience. This time is specifically designed for children with sensory processing differences, autism, or other special needs.
What to Expect:
A low-stimulation museum experience with reduced noise and crowds.
Limited capacity to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
A judgment-free space where families can feel at ease while exploring.

Wee Ones Wednesdays
A special time for children 3 years and under & their caregivers
Every Wednesday | 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM (Stay & play all day!) $5 per person
Wee Ones Wednesday is a protected time for our littlest visitors to explore the museum in a calm, nurturing environment. This session is designed for babies and toddlers (ages 0-3) and their caregivers.
What to Expect:
Therapists are onsite during this time to answer questions about your child’s development.
A safe and engaging play session designed for infants and toddlers.
Connect with other parents and caregivers in a welcoming community.
Access to valuable early childhood resources.
